Daylight Savings Time Bug For Motorola Smartphones

Let's hope you realized on Sunday it was daylight savings and you should have set your clocks back an hour. Well, in today's day and age smartphones are able to automatically reset themselves for daylight savings, but there was a hiccup for some Motorola devices running Android 2.3.

Apparently, these Motorola smart phones may experience decreased battery life after the daylight savings comes into effect.

But the fix to return your battery life to normal is very easy.

Simply, restart your smartphone and everything should be back to normal. The issue was posted on Motorola's official Twitter feed so trust them on this. Here's exactly what the tweet looked like, "Some users with Motorola smartphones on Android 2.3 may experience battery life issues after DST ends -- rebooting fixes the issue".
