Apple Inc Sells 4 Million iPhone 4S Handsets During Opening Weekend

Apple Inc. just announced that it has sold over 4 million of the iPhone 4S smart phone after its launch just three days ago on October 14th. There's even more news when you consider that there are now over 25 million people using iOS 5, Apple's new mobile operating system. One final statistic, over 20 million customers have signed up for iCloud, a break through of free iCloud services that automatically and wirelessly stores your content in the cloud and then pushes to all of your devices.

4 million iPhone 4S handsets have been sold in three days but what's even more impressive is that this new Apple smartphone has only been released in the following countries so far:

• United States


• Australia


• Canada


• France


• Germany


• Japan


• United Kingdom.

The iPhone 4S will be available in 22 other countries on October 22 and in another 70 countries by the end of the year. Clearly, Apple Inc. is firing on all cylinders and we're sure their outsourced Asian factories are having trouble keeping up with demand for Apple's most iconic device the iPhone 4S.
